Daddy's Definition of "Glory"

To Daddy's Heart, the word "Glory" is more of a noun than a verb.  When it comes to relationship with His children, God's foremost interest in Glory is not in receiving our praise.

Yep, you heard me.

During a prayer conference, ministry team members had opportunity to share testimony, and one of the things the Lord put on my heart to share concerned the "Essence of His Glory"... a truly awesome reality.   What makes it most awesome to me is that, while praising the Lord is a powerful, pleasurable act of obedience and warfare against demonic hordes to benefit the entire Body of Christ, that side of it is not what fuels Abba's jets - it does not fully portray the "essence" of His Heart toward us.

Guessed yet where I'm headed with this? If you were at that prayer conference, you already know.

The Lord taught me the touching truth about His Heart in this verse from Isaiah 42:8 which reads,
"I Am the Lord, that is My Name; and My Glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images."
Upon first reading the verse, I didn't fully understand God's meaning.  I just figured He was asserting His splendid Authority, and He wanted to make sure everyone knows HE knows Who He is and what He rightfully deserves.  While all that is true... still, it's not the true essence of the verse as defined by Abba's Heart.  THIS is:
I Am the Lord, that is My Name; and the sacred place of intimacy I designed and created for singular fellowship with My children I will not abdicate to another; neither will I give the precious means of accessing it into the cold, dead hands of graven images.
Isn't that delicious?!

Abba told me to always look at that verse in those terms and, from that time to this, I do.

Other than Their relationship to each other, the Godhead prize NOTHING more than Their union with us!  Did you hear that??  The Lord once told me that love is not love unless it is sacrificial.  Well, listen to the Heart of God in this thing... He's more concerned about the preservation of His special place of unity with His beloved - where He can bring Heaven down to earth and establish His Holy habitation within our hearts - than He is about getting His props!

Please don't misunderstand me -

Praising God strengthens and empowers us, encourages us, and wards off the fiery darts of the enemy.  But Father God prizes praise most as the powerful means by which His kids can enter into His Glory and come to know Him in the place of tenderness and intimacy and cuddly-cozy fellowship with the Godhead that He established and relished as "only ours with Him" before the foundation of the world!  Therein is the literal beating of His Heart, my friends.  Amen.

So when we "glorify the Lord", we are pointing others to His Heart.
When we "glory in Him" we are meeting with Him in intimacy, enjoying His Heart.
Glory = Intimacy with God.
Christ Jesus is the "King of Glory".  HE IS THE KING OF INTIMACY WITH GOD.

Make that your new definition of the word in terms of Abba's true desires for us.  Who other than the Lord God Almighty, King and Master of all of existence would humble Himself to reveal the loving kindness of His Heart and the tenderness that resides in all of His being toward us who He formed from the dust of the ground?

What kind of magnificent Heart are we dealing with here?  Saints, do you know who God REALLY is?  He's not the bitter taskmaster the enemy makes Him out to be... no! Far from it!  Rather, He is faithful, gentle, sentimental, and kind.  He is softhearted and full of love and laughter and concern for His Beloved.  He is ticklish and wonderful and PASSIONATE beyond all measure for the love of His Bride, and He seeks after her without arrogance or pride that He might woo and win her heart to His with cords of love and gracefully, lovingly, tender her to His side for all eternity to be ADORED AND PRIZED by the Godhead as precious and holy.

It's barely scratching the surface, dear ones, but THAT'S WHO GOD IS!!!  That's Who He wants to be for/to each and every one of us.

If you haven't already, won't you give Him a chance to envelop your heart in His?  That's how Holy Spirit won me to God's Heart... simply by honest, loving entreaty saying, "Just give Him a chance; just try Him and see - see if He will keep His word to your heart."  And I did that; I gave God a genuine opportunity to prove Himself to me without battling fear or doubt on my part... and He did.

The Sacred Lord will do the same for you, my friends, for He longs to wrap His Glory around you.  Are you willing?

If so, let's pray:

[Merciful Father, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ - the King of Glory - we come to You surrendering our hearts, minds, and emotions that You might open our understanding to receive Your true definition and desire for relationship with You in Your Realm of Glory. Father, we believe that Your Heart is ever pointed toward us in expression of Your eternal sacrificial love, and we love You, too.  Dear God, please give us what we stand in need of so we can meet with You in the Holy Place of Glory that You have preserved for us from before the foundation of earth.  We want You.  We believe You.  We receive You and Your supernatural impartation to us of obedience in the hunger and thirst of desire to meet with You regularly in the secret place - the place of Your Glory and of our glory in You, in Jesus' Name.  Amen.]

Truly, our God is an awesome and loving, tenderhearted God.

Daddy's blessing on you all,
Daddy's Girl

Beyond the Veil: Encounters in Vision

Thank you so much for joining me once again as I share one of the startling, life-changing encounters in vision given to me in 2008 by Abba - my Daddy.  This encounter changed my entire perception of the River of Life recorded in scripture, which John saw coming out from the Father's Throne.  Enjoy!

“He that believes on Me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
-- John 7:38

(Imparted to  Sharon J. Gramling, JSM - Copyright © 2008)

During a Throne Room experience, Holy Spirit enabled me to view Abba’s Majestic Presence from the vantage point of the River of Life.  Looking while hovering above the River, I could see the exact description given by the Apostle John of the River seeming to flow out from beneath God’s Throne.  The Tree of Life was thriving along both banks beside it; beautiful.

However, something even more beautiful, even more magnificent was shown to me thereafter, as Holy Spirit lifted me closer to God’s Throne.  I was taken to the left side of the Throne and set down upon the Sea of Glass (which is actually deep, white light emanating from Abba and scattered thickly and gorgeously about the Throne Room floor like sparkling, jeweled mist).  From there I saw in vision the portion of the Throne which held Abba’s seated form; His waist and legs and knees and feet.  As I looked, I could still see and softly hear the waters of the River of Life continually flowing as it was when I was in front of Him; only this time I saw something more by His Spirit.  Indeed, Holy Spirit enabled me to view the SOURCE of those living, life-giving waters… they proceeded, literally, from Abba Himself - from out of His own belly I saw waters upon spectacular blue-green waters gushing out, rushing out from the very Body of the Father, from beneath His rib cage all the way to His loins and upper thighs, the waters flowed and flowed relentlessly in mighty, fragrant, powerful, life-giving, purposeful, ordered streams from His Heart of Love upon all of His Creation, upon the earth, and upon all the children of God who covered that place in Paradise and in Glory!

Hallelujah!  I knew that those same waters are what flow up through us every time we believe in Him, reach out to Him, and call upon His name and trust Him and praise Him as Resource and Power for our daily living and Source upon the earth.  Abba seemed pleased as His heart was conveyed to me through Holy Spirit as I beheld Him in Power as Source, Healer, and One and Only Giver of Life to the Universe and everything in existence.

Then, at once, the Father changed position upon the Throne; He simply shifted His hips in positioning as He gazed out at His children basking themselves in His Life-giving Light and bathing in the waters of the River of Life.  But that slight, momentary movement of His Body sent a teeming tidal wave of bright, sparkling waters S-P-L-A-S-H-I-N-G down the lane of liquid sustenance, crashing along its shores, covering the grateful redeemed who sat there and emitting the intoxicating fragrance of fellowship, healing, and unconditional Love in forgiveness among the masses at the River’s edge.  I saw those waters HEAP over them and move to others in the rhythm and pulse of Abba’s generous, unending will and ardent desires for them.  I was smitten by His Power and the way the waters overtook them and blessed them.  I was arrested by thoughts of Love emanating from Abba’s Throne, as with every minute He concentrated on His Beloved and how He could nourish them with His Goodness to excel their growth in Him and add to their utter belief that He is the Savior and Source of Life Eternal for all of humanity and all who exist in His Presence forevermore.  The waters splashed over their bodies and left His fragrance of Love on their limbs and in their orifices as, in accordance with the Father’s will and pleasure, the River rolled on.  Amen!

It makes such sense that the waters of the River of Life come directly from Abba's body.  He is amazing and unending in His Love and Provision for us.  God bless you for reading and, may the power of He Who Alone is Our Source and Strength FOREVER be appropriated unto you and yours in just the ways you need most.  In Christ's Name, Amen.

Smiling widely in Jesus,

We Need Grieve No More

It's not necessary to go through life carrying grief over losing loved ones.

Grieving has its place... there is a time to mourn, the Bible says.  However, although you never stop loving one separated from you by death, you can stop grieving for them.  Through Christ, you can.

"Missing" them and grieving over them are two different things, and the Lord can completely remove your grief; of this I am a living witness.

As of this past spring, my mom has been in Heaven 20 years.  I grieved off and on for her for about half that time, and then I spent a couple of years really thanking the Lord for her life and for the truth that her 'passing over' opened a door to me for closer relationship with Abba than ever.  Then, on the 14th year after her passing, I was allowed to visit her in Heaven.

Yes, in Heaven.

Although that monumental occurrence in my life is not the focus of today's post, the impact of it is, in terms of God's mercy and His true heart's desire to completely heal our grief.

Oh, like some, I had seen my mother very briefly in a dream a few weeks after she left earth when my grief over her reached its height, and that snippet enabled me to persevere long enough to see the next phase of God's plan for me.  But the miraculous "visit", to which I've referred, happened 14 years later after the Lord gently refocused my eyes to see Him alone as "Source".  I've now enjoyed several subsequent visits over the last six years.

(I should note that, prior to His refocusing me, I had put my mother on the pedestal of "source" for all things Godly.  Wrongfully, it was something I did to her because I knew she heard Abba's voice and was used prophetically by Him.)

After that initial visit to see my mom, God told me that for 14 years I had been processed emotionally by Holy Spirit to the place where seeing her again was not my foremost goal for going to Heaven when I die.  I grieved tremendously over her loss, so delivering me from that goal was an enormous triumph for the Godhead.  It took my total submission and obedience to Their word, will, and directives over my life without the knowledge of what They intended to grant me in the end.  I had no idea I truly could ever actually see her and be with her again outside of going to Heaven at death.

Anyway, through growing intimacy with Him, God brought me to the place where I wanted HIM more than anything or anyone in existence.  I had finally come to the place I now enjoy more than anything in my life...  Abba's bosom; and that's a place, beloved, where everything else is simply gravy and icing!  GOD is our Total Source.  Hallelujah!  El Shaddai is His Name, and it's not His Name for nothing!

He has filled every place in me of mourning for my mother, and I do not grieve her passing any longer.  That's not something I've surmised - it's what He's told me.  Amen!  As scripture declares, it is the Lord's doing, and it is MARVELOUS in our eyes!

So how did I overcome the inordinate continuity of grief?  By coming in to the Lord daily.  "Coming in" to Him?  Yes.  It's a term He uses that simply means spending deliberate, regular time with Him in absolute intimacy.  By that I mean, not sitting before Him reading the scriptures or interceding for anyone... but entering the room where we meet and dancing  and singing before Him with ALL OF MY MIGHT, then soaking to music of His selection while focusing solely on Him.  ("Soaking" is laying out before Him and allowing His Spirit to come upon me as He desires.)  Sometimes there are no CDs playing - just my voice lifted in a tender, love-drenched melody of spontaneous adoration of Him, which is fully directed by Holy Spirit.  During this time I listen for His voice of love towards me, and I answer Him in kind.  He asks how I feel about each of the Godhead, how I feel about His commissioning of me, and always always cleansing tears of intense love and understanding flow.  His tears wash me, and my tears bless Him.  Tears of LOVE for the Godhead are beautiful and cleansing in transformation and holiness.  That's what I mean by "coming in" to Him by His definition.  And always afterward, I get a word from Him on the whole of our time together and on what His heart's desire is for me.  There's nothing better than that time with Him.  Nothing.

I spend time with my beloved as I would with my earthly husband; in privacy, love, and release.  In intimacy as with no other.  That's what the Lord has asked of me.  That's what healed me of grieving for my mother to the point of not wanting to live.  That's what delivered me of my misguided idolization of her; she neither sought nor asked that of me.

If you trust Him and keep saying "yes" to His invitations, during your exposure to the Godhead in intimacy, He will heal you completely of your grieving by lifting it from you gently and putting Himself in its place.  He will fill your emptiness with His Light and Life and Thanksgiving and Gladness.  He will soothe you with His balms and tender oils - Christ IS the Balm to heal the grief-stricken soul.

Saints, intimate time with God is the singular delight of my life.  As the scriptures say, indeed, in His Presence IS fullness of JOY; at His Right Hand ARE pleasures forevermore.

Now, may God impart to you His courage to hunger and thirst for Him as I pray...

[Merciful Father, in the Name of Jesus I commend Your sweet Spirit of impartation in healing waters and oils to all those seeking Your face for deliverance from inordinate terms of grieving.  Father, while Your word says there is a time to mourn, the enemy would try to strap a grieving shroud to the hearts and minds of Your children beyond the time designated by You.  It is for those individuals I pray, dear Lord; for I was once one of them.  I know You can heal by Your power in simply calling Your children into Your Divine Presence, daily.  I ask that all who desire healing would come in to You in the understanding that You alone are the Healer of broken, grief-stricken hearts and that, by Your power, You can draw them in to the knowledge of their loved one's true place in their hearts and lives being a JOY to them, and not a burden.  Father, I remand to Your custody everyone reading this, listening to Holy Spirit, and awaiting Your hand of mercy in their lives.  I forbid the enemy any further access to them in these places, and I cover them with Your Blood in Jesus' Mighty Name.  Thank You, Father.  Amen.]

The undying love of the Godhead be with you all, always!

Daddy's Girl

If it had not been for the Lord...

Growing up in a world of prophets and warlocks has given me plenty for which to be thankful.  There were folks in our church who truly loved the Lord, and folks who truly didn't.  Their battles literally played out in my household; my mom was a prophet and the man she married... well, wasn't.  Redemptively speaking, that truth afforded me the most fertile ground for growth, strength, and wisdom in Christ I could have had then and, once again, I’m thankful.

Reflecting on all the Lord has redeemed in my life makes me extremely thankful, and the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday is the perfect reason for me to express it publicly.

Without going into further detail right now, I’ll simply say that Psalm 124 expresses my heart most fully regarding the plots and schemes of the enemy from which I have been delivered, and my unending gratitude toward Almighty God.

Psalm 124

If it had not been the LORD Who was on our side, now may Israel say -

If it had not been the LORD Who was on our side, when men rose up against us,
then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us;

Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul;
then the proud waters had gone over our soul.

Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.

Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

Everyone have a peaceful, joyous, and healthy Thanksgiving, and give thanks unto the Lord for He is good!

Humility, Obedience, and God's Blessings

Humility is a powerful thing.
Obedience is the greatest inroad to Daddy’s heart.

From the time of my youth Holy Spirit has pointed out many truths regarding humility and obedience and their tremendous effect on Abba’s heart, but two in particular:
  • Humility pleases God
  • Obedience moves God’s hand in blessing

Solomon’s Humility

One of my favorite scripture passages on humility doesn’t mention the word per se, but it doesn’t have to; the story it reveals exudes truth regarding how pleased God is with humble hearts.

1 Kings 3:5-14

At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask!  What shall I give you?”  And Solomon said, “You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

Now, O, Lord my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in.  And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted.

Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil.  For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”

This speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.

Then God said to him, “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, behold, I have done according to your words.  See, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you.

And I have also given you what you have not asked; both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days.  So if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.”

How I love this passage!  There’s SO much here of the power of humble transparency and how it richly entreats the heart of God.  Even as a child, when I read this passage, my heart was subdued by the mercy and graciousness of God that He would ask Solomon to choose the gift He would give him!  Whoa!  I still think that particular facet of kindness in Abba is amazing!  Hallelujah!

As if that wasn't marvelous enough, when Solomon reveals his humble, desperate desire to lead God’s chosen people in a manner pleasing and acceptable to Him you can just see a smile of tender gratitude and approval form on Abba’s lips like the bloom of a fragrant flower.  His previously solemn, searching eyes lovingly soften toward the young king and - well pleased - He resolves to grant the heir’s request... and then some.

I love it that we can’t out-give God.  O, when He is pleased with you, look up joyfully!

I fondly recall how that particular phrase - “this speech pleased the Lord” - first seized my heart’s attention and riveted my emotions in a way I hadn't sensed before, illuminating the realization of my own urgency to please Him.

As always, God’s delight in our righteous decisions is vocalized and enacted in His loving promises and powerful edicts over us.

Abraham’s Obedience

I believe one of the greatest personifications of obedience moving God’s hand in reward and blessing comes from none other than Abraham following the near sacrifice of Isaac.

In Genesis 22:16-19 when Abraham's faith was confirmed in humble and unconditional obedience to God’s commands - even to the brink of sacrificing his only son Isaac - God overtook him in the promise and (ongoing) fulfillment of staggering blessing in holy oath  saying,

“By Myself I have sworn, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son - surely, in blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore... in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

It doesn't get better than that, folks!

The Lord absolutely relishes and delights in our humility and obedience.  And after we come through trial and testing successfully, Abba declares to us in gratifying assurance,

‘Now just watch Me bless you, baby!  See if I don’t keep My Holy Word and Name
in blessing and reward on your behalf!’

Hallelujah!!  Who is like unto our God?!  I love that about Him!

He is above all things, FAITHFUL.

May Holy Spirit seal these truths into your hearts, minds, souls, and spirits in Jesus' Name.

Be blessed,
Daddy's Girl

Beyond the Veil: Encounters in Vision

New Weekly Feature of "Daddy's Girl"

The experiences Abba has granted me in His Realm are sacred, life-changing, and miraculous.  They are not the focus of our relationship, but they certainly have illumined my deepening knowledge of His Heart and my intimacy with the Godhead.

Lord willing, every Thursday in this blog we will venture "Beyond the Veil" to share the precious encounters I've had with Daddy over my years of growth as a seer and in my challenging walk with Him.

Those who've read my two books* will recognize many of the visions shared here - including this excerpt from "Book of Visions II" that I'm sharing today to launch this weekly post.  But I pray those who previously have not read the following account will allow this special glimpse of our loving Father to stoke your hunger and thirst for greater knowledge of His heart.  For as His heart is revealed, so is the staggering power of His Spirit!  Amen.

God’s Vision to me of:

(Excerpted from "Book of Visions II" Copyright ©2009 - Sharon Joy Gramling, JSM)

During corporate worship, God showed me the pleasure His Heart derives
from the worship of His saints.

"As God the Father sat enthroned surrounded by His worshiping Children, rings of pleasure burst in succession like ocean waves from His belly, wrapped around Him like rings of Saturn, and rose higher and higher over His mighty countenance to the top of His head, radiating His pleasure and deep Love of His Children.  As they rejoiced, the Redeemed climbed high upon the rings of Abba’s delight and were upheld by them as they ascended to the heights of His Majestic head and face.  The brightness of earth’s sun was woefully eclipsed by the dazzling corona of the Father’s immense delight and the pleasure pulsating from His magnificent form in rolling waves.  Hallelujah!!!  My eyes beheld the Holy One’s embrace of us through the utterance of His Breath of Life in continual sighs that shook the atmosphere as He turned His head slowly, east-to-west and west-to-east, ardently inhaling the praise of His Children and exuberantly exhaling His Essence upon them in atomized bursts saturated with Life and Fragrance!
Glory! Glory! Glory!  Higher and higher the rings of His Good Pleasure rose in different colors – mint green and pink and white.   The Saints who were enabled to withstand the gloriously consuming, booming blasts of brightness at His head actually ‘became’ part of the white ring of holiness and purity in intensity and strength. . . some fell harmlessly from ring-to-ring and were lifted up again and again in euphorically close proximity to His enormous, glowing frame and flew higher and higher upon every quake of God’s emotion, drenched in the paternal waves of His astounding beauty, Love, and deep satisfaction in His Saints, Beloved and Blessed of God!  AMEN!!!"

God bless you, beloved.  Lord willing, "see" you at Saturday's regular blog!

Smiling in Jesus,
Daddy's Girl
