Choose Your Pantry

We are vessels with God-given ability to choose the cupboard in which we dwell and the pantry from which we are supplied.
Whether cup or plate or pitcher or tray, Heaven's cupboards are beaming and its glistening pantries are sweet-smelling and abundant.  Christ is in everything of His supply, born and reaped of His character.  His storehouses bulge with bounty and the nourishing nectar of wisdom dripping from His lips.  He IS the pantry door, and stands smiling fervently as the brightness of Daddy's being illuminates His form.

The Best of
The enemy also stands at the door of his pantry barking enticements like a carnival con man. Lies always appeal to the flesh, so it heads over to his door for a tentative peek and sniff. This is always where the trouble begins.

But as we grow closer to God through continued exposure to His Presence, trust builds in us that His character is perpetually greater than the enemy's, and His offerings bear only life - never death.  It's up to us, though, to believe God's Truth or reject it.

I've chosen to accept and apply the blood-soaked earplugs (drawn from Christ's own body), which make me deaf to satan's chiding, deaf to his enticements and lies so I can be aligned with Daddy's Divine nature and enjoy the harvested delights of His pantry.

"Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." (2 Peter 1:2-4)
How about you?  The Lord has given you all that you need, friends, and He stands waiting for your decision.  It's time to choose your pantry.

"... fervent in spirit, serving the Lord."
