God is Amazing

I am always simultaneously amazed and delighted at how our awesome God can part seas by the arm of His might, yet also create the delicate veins of a fragrant, moist orchid.  Daddy is all things to us, and His abilities are endless.  The same God Who licked up the water-logged altar for Elijah with fire from Heaven can wipe the sweat softly from a mother's travailing brow and coddle a baby while He forms it in the womb.  God is amazing.
I want to know Him, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, I want to know all of His purpose and plans for me.  We sit on a goldmine of opportunity, Saints, for Daddy's powerful, worthy hands are at our disposal, and His ears are open to our cries.  Any cry, any inquiry, any wonderment of our hearts can be answered if we are willing to sincerely ask.  He wants to reveal Himself to us!  Why would anyone let such opportunity pass by?
The Lord is dazzlingly splendid, majestic and powerful, mighty to save and fiercely judge... with laughter He forms the bodies of His dear children, and with deep regret He views every soul consigning itself to hell.  He takes greatest joy in our salvation, and agonizes sorrowfully in our rebellion.  He is tender, sweet, and merciful; He is kind beyond thought or reason, and always more than fair with us.  Yet He is also the Righteous Judge, the All-powerful Maker and Creator of every universe, and the Great King of kings and Lord of lords.  He is our soft and cuddly Daddy, and our disciplining Father... yet ALL is accomplished through Love.
Don't you want to know Him in every facet of His being?  I do.
Anyone who can protect and defend me from the worst of enemy forces, and yet make a flower as delicate and spectacular as that orchid is highly worth knowing... Not to mention the fact that He died for me, and saved me from a torturous death in hell's scorching blazes.  HALLELUJAH!  Get to know Him today, friends; He has so much of good in store for you.  Amen.
