God is never afraid, ashamed, or embarrassed to wear His heart on His sleeve.  Ever notice that testimonies mirroring His honest, transparent ease are the most compelling?  I have.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
Regarding sin, we're all in the same boat; everyone's been there, everyone has "a past" - we've all goofed.  But all who are blood-washed and secure in Christ are continually rescued from their folly and, about that, we should rejoice.

The Best of

Why, then, do we struggle with sharing our mistakes and sins?  Why do we desire to be viewed as flawless and beyond reproach? Why let prideful, delusional lies steal our personal praise of God when we all stand on even ground concerning sin?

Because the enemy launches condemning strikes in constant attempt to silence the truth in us; for he knows it's our testimony that makes us total overcomers in Christ.
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." (Rev. 12:11)
There's nothing as powerful as humble testimony of God's saving power.  When Daddy's ability to save from the gutter-most to the uttermost  is extolled on our lips, all of Heaven cheers, and the enemy's camp is chained and muted with gags soaked in the Blood of the Lamb!

Beloved, through the power of Holy Spirit we can dodge the enemy's darts of fear, condemnation, and embarrassment and give forth vulnerable, transparent testimony of God's eternal forgiveness and deliverance of our souls.  In so doing, we have His promise that the very words we speak will set many captives free.

"... fervent in spirit, serving the Lord."
(Romans 12:11b)
