"No Surprise" - A Poem

Don't be surprised if folks come and go
from your life according to God's holy flow.
Remember that 'holy' means He's set apart
your life for His purposes so in the dark
and places of travel where you've been unsure
you'll know His hand's on you and you'll be secure.
He's just separating the things that don't match
and laying out for you the wisdom to catch
His vision and good plan for freeing your life
from worries and heartache and fear and all strife.
Don't be surprised when life echoes all
He's purposed and planned for your heart since the fall.
He's the God of Redemption and freedom from sin,
the only One on Whose strong side you will win.
His favor is yours, quickly there for the asking
with blessings of love and of life everlasting.
The end of His purpose is just like the start:
your whole life redeemed and transformed to His heart.

The Lord remains focused on His plans for the total redemption of our lives, beloved.  When we yield to His definitions and don't rely on our own no matter what we see, we have peace.  He is faithful to confirm His purposes and remind us of the words, dreams, and visions He's given us concerning His eternal, specialized blueprint and intentions.

Rest in Him and His powerful abilities on your behalf, dear ones.  I am, and I'm not surprised that His faithfulness remains, His mercy endures, and His love for me is everlasting.  So is His love for you.

God bless you!

It's an Honor

Vessels of "dishonor" we couldn't do without.  Having this head cold has evoked such thoughts.

Do you sometimes feel like all you do is get slimed (like tissue) and carry the refuse of life (like toilets and garbage cans)?  Yeah, well, so do I.  But in Jesus there is deliverance, cleansing, and renewal in sweet fragrance.  Just think of all He had to endure for our sakes in strapping on the weight and penalty of sins He never committed and substituting His eternal innocence to pay the price of the guilty, the filthy, the refuse of this world...

When we look on Him, we realize we haven't suffered unto blood.  In truth, we've barely suffered at all in the burning light of His mighty sacrifice.  For our sakes, He carried all dishonor and shame and forfeiture of eternal life onto that cross on that dusty, empty, critical day thousands of years ago.

Without that honorable sacrifice covering our dishonor, we'd all be dead and in Hell.

In light of that, beloved... I reckon I can carry my cross a bit longer.  Looking on Jesus, Who endures as my Burden Bearer, I believe I can endure the slime and the refuse and the pain; the odor and the tears and discharge of human emotion.  Looking on Jesus' love for me, I can make the sacrifice of obedience to Daddy's call on my life.  Fixed on Christ's eyes, I don't feel like a vessel of dishonor, but one of supreme honor in serving Him.

He is Truth.  He is our example and beacon of hope for deliverance and cleansing.  Christ Jesus is our Crown of renewal in sweet fragrance of fellowship with Abba, which we will wear for all eternity.  Hallelujah!  I'm feeling better already.  Hope you are, too!

THANK YOU, DEAR JESUS... it's an honor.

One more sneeze and I'll...

Yep, it's here again... another winter cold.  I had one last season also, remember that post?

If your memory's been refreshed, you know that I try to make the most of these seasons of strengthening and growth for my immune system by giving way to Daddy's comforting sense of humor.  Laughter can be found in almost anything and is a God-given tonic, scripture says. It beats crabbiness and crying.  Besides, IMO, if I can't laugh at myself in precarious situations, I've got more to pray about than a cold!  ;0)

This morning I thought of some "not so fun" facts regarding the cranial onslaught of infection laughingly referred to as a head cold and, yesss... I'm gonna share a few with y'all!

For instance:
  • Although it may be impossible to sneeze with your eyes open, it is entirely possible to sneeze and pass gas simultaneously! I truly believe that after the 250th time you brace your "cheeks" for impact, the sphincter muscle just gives up, and you're on your own... (Common colds are fraught with humiliation.)
  • Mucous comes in all colors of the rainbow and makes excellent mortar for building tissue forts. (Okay, a little gross - but it gives new meaning to the term "green" construction!)
  • You know your fever's broken when a dry bed of comfort transforms - overnight - to a swampy, sticky, river of sweat. (Man-up, Sharon! Strap on the SCUBA gear and get back to bed.)

Well, friends, as much as I'd love to prolong this path of fond recollection and diaries of nasal congestion... there's a cup of tea, popular antihistamine, and long nap waiting with my name on them.

I solicit your continued prayers for a speedy recovery.

Smiling through the sneezes,

The Way Out of Wickedness

In my opinion, no matter how colorfully patterned, spiders are ugly creatures. Spiritually speaking, their webs are symbolic of deception - "wicked plans" always involve some form of it.

Think about the most wickedly devised plan of all - that of satan to steal dominion of the soul of mankind and the earth - deception was the engine that drove it.  While it's true that obedience from Adam or Eve would have destroyed his entire offensive, the overall scheme was an abomination to God.

All who "lay in wait" to launch wicked plans birthed from even more wicked hearts are in league and alliance with the enemy.  Cain was "of that wicked one" when he conceived in his heart to slay Abel.  In jealous animosity, the Pharisees "plotted" to do away with Christ.

Scripture plainly states, "the wicked plots against the just and seeks to slay him."  Nearly all such plots and schemes are realized via some form of deception.  More simply put, lies are the key device of the enemy and all those who follow him.  Like a sac of eggs yielding millions of tiny spiders, deceptive plans burst forth and cover the heart of the deceiver with crawlers and feelers of trickery and deceit.

Disgusting, isn't it?  Such malicious cruelty and harm fly in the face of God's loving, holy thoughts toward us expressed in Jeremiah 9:11.  Wicked plans are the exact opposite of Abba's compassionate, positive nature.  Understandably, such things He hates.

What About You?

Have you ever planned harm against another?  To God, the sin of planning is the same as the sin of executing; it's what's going on in the heart  that counts with Him.  Scripture says the "devising" is what He hates because, to Him, if you hatch it in your heart, you've done it.

If that's the case, there's a way to be freed from the wages sin carries:  repentance.  It's such a sweet word, actually.  It's an open door to freedom in Jesus He died to provide for us.  Through a prayer of sincerity, all you need do is release those evil plans and turn your back on the hatred that spawned them.  Whatever the reason, cause, or circumstance behind it, giving the situation over to God is your best answer; laying down all cruelty, malice, and/or evil intent.

Friends - whether you've plotted or been a target of the enemy's wicked plans - if starting with a clean slate is your desire, please join me in these prayers:

[Dear Father in Heaven, please have mercy on me.  I ask Your forgiveness for every wicked device I have planned against anyone, ever.  I remand to Your custody the hurtful intent of my heart and its pain.  I ask You to forgive me and heal me of deception and all deceptive plots, in Jesus' Name.  I pray Your restoration over my heart, mind, will, and emotions and ask You to heal the hearts of all those I have wounded through evil plans or devices; in Jesus' Name I pray and thank You.  Amen.

Father, by Your power, I also choose to forgive all those who have devised wicked plots or plans against me.  I remand them to Your custody and ask that You cover them with Your unconditional love and forgiveness.  Please fill my heart with Your desires for them, in Christ Jesus' Name I pray.  Amen.]

God bless y'all.

Have Love

How do you look into the face of evil and choose to have love?  Only by God's power.  It is pleasing to Daddy that we look on love as the answer and cure to all things.  Remember, HE is Love.

Proving your point, wielding snappy "comebacks", and showing off intellectual prowess does nothing to impress God or mark His heart toward you.  He knows we are helpless without Him.

He is moved by the heart and hands lifted up to Him empty, longing for fullness only sourced from Him.  The human who knows the true circumstance of total dependence and blesses God for it gets through to His Holy Place.  The threshold of complete humility and trust - and all they entail and imply - welcomes our God regularly; its doorposts shelter the head of the Almighty in honor and strength.  Within the walls of humility and trust stand the wisdom of the Teacher... He Who imparts life-changing transformation and, therefore, ability to look into the face of evil and choose to have love.  Humility faithfully receives His teaching as the penetrating truth it is, bowing to it in faithful gratitude.  Trust wraps the gems of His teaching in packages of obedient application and appropriation, for His righteousness is travel-worthy and ready to face the world.

The power of God is an unfathomable mixture of milk and passion and meat and cream; character and worthiness and abiding faithfulness whose fragrance is beyond the senses, taking control of the living soul and transforming it into "His" greatness in favor and cleansing and holiness and health.  Such is God's power as far as humanity can understand - which isn't very far - but what we can grasp and hold by His mercy is enough to mark our beings with redeeming love to a level unapproachable by evil.

In other words, when we're totally clothed with Jesus, the enemy can't even come into our neighborhood, let alone touch us.  And when we're breathing Christ like the air we breathe on earth - nurtured and fed and renewed by Him - when the rarified air of Heaven enters our spirit lungs we can love our enemies from blocks away or even up close, because we're loving with hearts we've given over to Jesus Who cried for their forgiveness and then died for it.  For theirs and ours.

Christ is the warmest, securest, most satisfying, wise, exciting, and fulfilling garment we can ever wear - and we were born to wear Him.  The Father made it our right to wear Jesus as our own when we accepted His plan for our reconciliation to Him.  I am so indelibly owned and operated by God that adequate expression of my love often escapes these human lips; only Holy Spirit does its true song of simplicity within me due justice.

God loved me first, and now I love Him back.  Clinging to the humility and trust abiding in His Bosom rights all wrongs and recovers all loss, forever.  As long as I'm wearing Jesus the Christ as my Eternal, Royal Garment, I can look right into the eyes of evil and choose to have love.  That, more than anything, well pleases the heart of the Father.  Amen.

Say YES to the Arrest

God is calling forth the fragrance He has placed within you from before the earth's foundation.  He's calling it forth now to arrest your soul in obedience that will ripple and reverberate into the lives of others in puddles, then pools, then ponds, lakes, rivers, and oceans of deliverance and declarative strength.

Generational power by His Spirit is ours with each new birthing surpassing that of the previous generation in fragrance and substance and obedience to His Divine call.

Bow your knees before God and allow Him to anoint your lives further than ever with the fragrance of His love, purpose, and plans for you.  Seek Him out in that holy place reserved for just you two - your prayer closet - to know all that He has for your spirit-man to bear and behold as you are able to receive.  He is waiting and willing to reveal it to you that you may experience ALL of Him in His Coffers of Plenty.

His fragrance fully surpasses all you could ask or think, and He desires each of us to behold Him in the beauty and intimacy He shares with the Father.  Moreover, He particularly longs for each of us to partake of that oneness in unity and strength.  His JOY awaits us, beloved! It's there for the taking when we answer His call.  Say YES to Jesus, as He calls forth the fragrance of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit within you.  Say YES to all He has for you in Divine circumstance and designation in His Kingdom.  Yield to His plans for greater focus and boldness to enter your lives.  Let His fragrance "arrest" you and fill you with all of His purposeful will and pleasure, today.

Hold On...

God, Who formed our eyes, can see. God, Who formed our ears, can hear.  HE IS LISTENING WHEN WE PRAY.  HE SEES EVERY TEAR.

Sweet brothers and sisters in Christ - don't give up - hold on.  Set your heart to persevere in His Name, and God will do the rest.  Remand your heart, mind, will, and emotions to Yahweh's custody in Jesus' Name... He will rescue you from sorrow and grant you increase in His JOY!
"... weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning." (Psalm 30:5b)
I speak the Peace of God to overtake you in Jesus' Name.  I speak His hands of strength in power and refreshing to undergird you in all your sufferings... He sees every one... He is acquainted with your grief.  He holds understanding in resource and recovery for you, and I remand you to His hands alone, in Christ's Name.

Remember that God's reward is ALWAYS greater than our suffering, beloved.  Always.
Reward comes.  Hold on.  The best of His Goodness and Plan awaits you.  Amen.

"Let There Be Me!"

We can't take a breath without God.  I woke up this morning thinking of this.  The action of filling our lungs with air is under His control, as is the edict that we continue living and breathing for a set number of days.

The energy we save and use and sell all comes from Abba's body; His very being is light and power and resource, and He allows certain components of Himself to be harnessed and concentrated inventively for the betterment of His creation.  That's amazing.

I love being amazed by Him - it's an unending fountain.  Let me share some of those thoughts with you, beloved.

For instance, I thought about the meaning of these two scripture verses:
"Then God said, 'Let there be light', and there was light." (Genesis 1:3)
"This then is the message which we have heard of Him and declare unto you, that God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all." (1 John 1:5)
Since God Himself IS light, and the creation of heaven and earth started with an all-powerful command from His lips, it hits my spirit that everything in our world began by Daddy simply and wondrously saying, Let there be ME! and He imparted Himself to all of creation - eradicating all voids and darkness - so that it would exist, subsist, and consist of/by His great power, because He is the "Self-Existent One"!

Scripture confirms that "Light" is not a thing, it's a Person! So on that day (long-since pressed into the annals of our history like fragrant flower petals), the Eternal, Sovereign, God of the Universe - the Maker and Creator and SOURCE of everything good and perfect - said, Let there be ME! and our world and cosmos began.  Amen!

Also, we know from scripture that Jesus Christ Himself IS "Life" and that He and Holy Spirit were not merely present with Yahweh at the foundation of the earth, but participated in the creation of man.  So yet again, the Lord imparted Himself as the "Breath of Life" into Adam, who he formed from the dust of the ground, and the living soul of our bloodlines took root upon the earth.  Isn't that fabulous?!

I love beholding Daddy in these ways, allowing His Holy Spirit to illuminate truth and communicate confidently in Power and Praise!  I stand in awe, blessing His Holy Name and delighting in sharing joyous adulation with all of you.

Impart Yourself to me, O, Lord - in the resource of Your power in light, love, and breath to my every circumstance - that I will praise Your Mighty Name and give GLORY unto You all the days that I live!  In Jesus' Precious Name I pray.  Amen.

Blessing Our God Who IS "Eternity",

How Do You Start Your Day?

I don’t want to merely begin my day by drawing from God for the things that I need to accomplish online.  I want to prioritize the "fellowship" and "friendship" of our relationship by talking with Him and praying to Him.  I want to look into those emerald-green eyes of His and bless Him for the day by "knowing Him" intimately in our secret place through praise and worship.

The place where I praise Him and cry to Him and speak in tongues until my heart feels light is the place I want to be.  Such union is initiated while I'm still in bed, releasing my mind to thoughts of gratitude in being His precious seed.

Today I started this way, and I’m glad I did.

God wants me to love on Him; in other words, give Him my attention as a priority each morning with the same favor He has given me and with the same measure of gladness that bursts from Him whenever I'm in His presence.  He wants my passion. He waits for me to awake each day so that we can have intimate, treasured, fellowship.  I want to remember that.

How much of a priority is your fellowship with God?  How much of a priority is talking to Him, hearing from Him, singing and dancing before Him, and letting Him know the joy that fills your heart at the mention of His Name?  How far up on your list of 'critical things' is quiet intimacy with God?  I want spending time with Him to be at the top of mine.

Waking up and rushing out of bed is not how I want to start my day.  Rather, I want to start it talking to Daddy and praying to Him in my Heavenly language until Holy Spirit catches me up in the goodness of His intent for me for the day.  As we pray, we draw on His heart in the same way kind words draw tenderness from loved ones.  He blesses our countenance with love in return; it’s always awaiting our attentions.  He needs and desires our love just as we need and desire His. Remember that our tenderness and longings for closeness are spawned from His because He is our Creator.  Every good and perfect thing (including the thirst for love) comes from His Breast.  We want because He wants; we laugh because He laughs; we desire and need fellowship because He desires and needs fellowship.

[Beloved, don’t put God in the detached, unemotional box of your definitions and intellect, figuring He doesn’t desire our company or “need” our fellowship just because He’s (what you define as) “God”.  In order to attain the level of relationship He longs for with us, Daddy “needs” our cooperation and attention; He also “needs” our desires to align with His because He will not force agreement.  That’s the nature of “need” in His union with us; it speaks not of weakness or deficit on His part, but of His yearning, and hope, and request for our part.  God doesn’t “need” anything to be God… but He needs our love and agreement and obedience to have mature fellowship with us; without them, He cannot.]

I want to bless His Name and call Him Father and feel His warmth in righteousness and Holy joy - that’s “set apart” joy and gladness, meant especially for me - as He showers it upon me when I pray.  He wants us to hug Him so that He can return our embrace and flood us with His presence.  This can happen every day, a million times; Daddy wants it to, and so do I.

Friends, start the day turning to God as to your lover in the marriage bed.  Stroke His hair, embrace Him, and bless His Name; tell Him that you love Him and desire to build your day around Him.  As we regard Him, He will regard us and orchestrate our activities to meet our needs.  Amen.

A Prayer of Love, Adoration, & Praise

Merciful God, I want the truth of Your attentions to surround me.  You know me, God; You know everything about me and yet You love me!  I need Your attention... I need Your affection... I need You completely.  I want to feel the worthiness You've ascribed to my person penetrate my psyche and my imaginations... let them be all about You.

You know me altogether, Lord, and that's all that matters.  As I sing to You, sing to me! Stroke me in the midnight hour with Your love and acceptance as I sing the song to You that resounds in my heart; one of love and devotion and intimate PRAISE.  For I love You and all of Your ways.  I want to be Your child in every way that matters... and that is every way.  I want to represent You and Your holiness and never be lost in the things of this world.  I am one with You.  Yours is the way I've chosen and with You I will remain.  I adore You and I desire to wear You with vigor and honesty and zeal, wrapping You around my breast like a shawl for warmth and covering.  I want Your change... Your refreshing... Your love.

Enable me to accept and receive You as the only attention in my life, for You are worthy. You are what matters... You are what counts.  You are the gift and prize of life, and I bless Your Precious Holy Name.

Your approval is the only approval, and Your hand upon me washes away all fears of emptiness and rejection. Let me never embrace neglect or its harmful lies, but cause me to answer Your calls of affection and cherishing waiting for me, for YOU are my Source!

HALLELUJAH!  YOU are my Source of all extravagant LOVE!

I am never empty or lacking or refused or alone... for Mighty Father, YOU are my Source! Let Your "Son" shine on me all the day and, in the evening, grant me Your refreshing in peaceful rest.

Thank You, my Father, that You alone are all I need.  The blessings of Your people are reflections of Your Soul, and I delight in them.  But the richest part of my existence comes when I close all doors to this world's offerings to embrace the inner beatings of Your heart - for You are adoration and peace and comfort and grace.  You are humility, health, and wholeness for my life, and I crave Your reception of my soul and spirit. I want Your attentions always, dear God; I covet Your embrace.  Thank You for always - and I mean always - receiving my entreaties and comforting me.  You are my sole Support and the Master of all my Godly ways.  Thank You, Father.

I walk through the Door of Your Son's Obedience, and I bless Your Holy Name.  Amen.

"Like a Bridge..."

I was crying tears of love and thanksgiving tonight thinking of the lengths to which Abba will go to voice His love to us.  The Lord's nature is sacrificial; that is the nature of love and He IS love.

Assuring us repeatedly that He will go to any extent necessary to win our love and convince us of His love for us, God gave Paul Simon the words to "Bridge Over Troubled Water", a pop song that was a smash hit in my youth.  Simon was listening to Rev. Claude Jeter of the Swan Silvertones when the Lord inspired the song.  Its words have always touched my soul when I think of them being breathed from the breast of Holy Spirit to all of humanity. Here's an excerpt:

"When you're weary, feeling small,
When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all;
I'm on your side. When times get rough
And friends just can't be found,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down."**

See how vulnerable God is being... feel His outstretched hand in those awesome lyrics. How can that not touch any heart?

It's so true that God is on our side, beloved; that's never a question.  Actually, the eternal query is - whose side are we on?  With a Heavenly Father Who is willing to humble Himself and become obedient unto death on our behalf, to harness Himself to sin and shame so they might be lifted from our shoulders, and to be soiled and spat upon so that we might be cleansed... why wouldn't we be on His side?

It's the side of love, my friends; unconditional love and forgiveness and sacrifice.  The Almighty, Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent God is willing to lay Himself down to be walked upon by His own creation that they might be led to safety by His Fatherly, transparent, vulnerable, unabashed, protective, saturating love.

O, Lord, my Lord... Who is like YOU?!

HALLELUJAH!  What have we got here, beloved?  I am enthralled by His faithfulness, and astonished by His love.

"Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us that we should be called the children of God!" (1 John 3:1)
"O, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His Name together!" (Psalm 34:3)

Let Him be your bridge over troubled water today, my friends.  He laid Himself down for me, He'll do the same for you.  He's ready, willing, and waiting... and you'll never find a love or a friend like unto Him in any universe... ever.

"O, how I love JESUS, because He first loved me!"

Receive His Peace

photo credit: Stuck in Customs via photopin

Have you ever felt as though you're just not at peace from day to day?

Worship God.

When we yield our substance to Abba, we receive His Peace.  Worship is all about "yielding", beloved.  Come into Him - meaning, just go into a private place with Him where you can get on your knees and cry to Him and bless Him and be honest with Him about your day and your feelings.  That's worship.

There's nothing "religious" or procedural necessary to get His attention; He's already all over you and everything you do because you're His child.  Indeed, Daddy's all about you. God is all up in my business, and I couldn't be more thrilled about it or desirous of it.  Truly.

Praise and thanksgiving and worship are all that are necessary to enter His Presence and receive the Kingdom of God.  Like scripture declares, it's not about eating and drinking, but about righteousness, peace, and JOY in Holy Spirit.  That's it.  That's everything, and it's Heaven's gift in the restoration of Peace.  Worship Him.  Hallelujah.  Amen.

Merciful Father, we bless Your Holy Name.  We bless You and love You and adore You and thank You for making it so easy for us to come into Your Presence and receive from You all the things You have for us.  Your gifts are the only ones we crave; Your praise and worship and presence are all that we desire.  You are "all that" and every bag of chips, dear God. You are our Heavenly Caretaker and the Eternal Source of Peace.  HALLELUJAH!

We bless Your Holy Name!

Receive His Peace, beloved.  Amen.

A Poem for Each Tomorrow

I've learned to run to Abba each time I stumble in sin.  Holy Spirit's arm is outstretched as He hovers above me - warm and full of mercy - urging me to go before Daddy to ask His forgiveness.  It occurs to me that we all need to be reminded of the unchanging love of our Heavenly Father.  He's not standing beside an ejection hatch waiting to consign us to Hell when we sin.  None of us would have any hope of survival (let alone inheriting eternal life) if God's love and understanding were withdrawn each time we "miss the mark".

Thank You, Jesus, that Your mercies are new with each sunrise.  Though "tomorrow" isn't promised to any of us, we need not approach God's plans for our future with forebodings (fear) of any kind.  The journey He's planned, He is faithful to secure and complete within us.

Here's a poem to edify and comfort you about this very thing, my friends.  In one way or another, God's truth always encourages.

Our Father sees us going wrong
but He knows we won't for long
forsake His revealed way for paths of sorrow.

His hands remain outstretched
even though our souls are vexed;
His mercies flow anew with each "tomorrow".

Reach out and up to Him
without Whom we'll never win -
and don't believe the lies of condemnation!

Jehovah God is ours
despite sin's blackened towers
in guilt and in discouraging frustration.

Clasp His mighty hand today,
He'll make straight each crooked way -
and bring us out of sin and its great sorrow.

Remember that His hand's outstretched
to receive you to His breast -
and bring us safely home to each tomorrow.

Coming Soon: "The Best of Daddy's Girl"

When I learned to walk, I put one foot out first ahead of the other and kept doing that every day as I grew stronger. When we walk with God, the same simple, powerful principle applies.

We must be reminded of foundational truths repeatedly, every single day, in order to grow stronger and continue in His strength.  Being constantly reminded, reaffirmed, and re-encouraged in our relationship with God in this life is of paramount importance to our perseverance, endurance, and growth as children of the Most High God.

Daddy specializes in all of that.  He delights in our chubby hands clutched firmly around His strong fingers as we lean on Him and look up to Him continually, teetering and toddling through life's rough course.  Many Daddy's Girl posts impart powerful, uplifting, encouraging truths that bear repeating; our lives are so precious to Him.  Though His words come through me, I sit back and read just like you do, my friends; and I cry and feel Holy Spirit's healing balm sweep tenderly over my soul.  At times, I wipe tears from my keyboard as I bless His Name; never does a ministry of love go forth from His Presence without keenly affecting everyone involved, for the better.  Amen.

So... God willing, starting next Saturday, I will publish the series of posts God has selected to comprise "The Best of Daddy's Girl" for your continued edification and enrichment.  God is helping us walk, and I'm very excited about that.  As the new posts keep coming, He'll also remind us every week of things that ground our footsteps in His security and eternal love.  That's awesome!

Dear friends, I am looking forward to beginning "The Best of Daddy's Girl" where we will be encouraged by His loving truths again, together.

In Jesus,
Daddy's Girl

Worthiness, Authority, Testimony, and Blessing

When you've been delivered from any bondage, stronghold, or affliction it makes you worthy - more than anything - to receive God's Spirit of Testimony about such things.  The enemy would have you embrace just the opposite, but don't do it, my friends.

Young people need to hear of one saved by grace from the ravages of sinning and backsliding in recurring sin (everybody needs to hear it).  Once you've been delivered by God's grace and power, He also infuses in you the testimony of believing in HIS ability on your behalf to keep you from falling.  God does the work.

But, loved ones, know this - when we are overcome by sin due to our own desires in lust and undelivered bondages - God understands and will forgive us if we sincerely repent.
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."  1 John 1:9
All people need to know that, too.  God is the God of unlimited opportunity, forgiveness, and chances.  We all fall upon occasion, and God knows that.  But He is also the God Who is able to keep us from falling if we give our whole will to Him.  HE can do it on our behalf, but it's up to us to yield to His commissioning of us as holy (set apart) vessels.  All He asks of us is that we be willing... willing to trust and obey His directives; willing to accept and receive His forgiveness when we sin; and willing to forgive ourselves.  Daddy wants us to know that - by His Power - we can live victorious lives in Jesus, going from glory to glory as His word says and receiving NO condemnation into our souls.
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." (Romans 8:1)

When Holy Spirit says NO condemnation, He's not stuttering or misspeaking; God says what He means and means what He says.  In Christ Jesus, my friends - WE ARE WORTHY to receive all that He has for us in commissioning in His vineyards as messengers and stewards of His goodness and mighty power to save.  Period.  God wants our lives literally to be about growing closer and closer to Him.

In Christ's power and wisdom, you can give wise counsel to anyone, young or old.  God's commissioning over your life takes precedence over everything!  He will prepare you, in His timing, for all He's assigned to you; and He will make ready all the hands and hearts He's marked to receive your testimony, by His power.  I declare it as truth, of which I am a living witness, in Jesus' Name.  Amen!

Be encouraged, dear friends, that you are worthy to do whatever God has called you to because of His great love for you.  Let His timing be your friend above all friends in the universe, and God will carry you through to your destiny.  Your purpose in Him IS NOT dishonorable - it's honorable, for all things in Him have honor and worth.  Seek Him out in prayer and thanksgiving for the direction He has for your life, and do not hinder His wondrous desires for you by regarding unworthiness.  Give place to God's Spirit above your feelings, beloved, and He will renew your spirit and change your feelings!  HALLELUJAH!

His deliverance from past sins gives you the authority to stand firm in His Name.  Don't let the enemy lie to you concerning that.  God's forgiveness in restoration and recovery of your life makes you worthy to declare His power unto others.  You are worthy, in Jesus' Name.

Be blessed,
Daddy's Girl

"... fervent in spirit, serving the Lord."
