What does GOD think?

"... rather, let your adornment be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)
I've never outgrown appreciation for the truth that God looks on the heart rather than the outward appearance.  In today's society, scripture verses like this mean more to women than men; especially those of us who aren't exactly considered bathing beauties outwardly.
It's only what God thinks that matters.  What He values has value; and whatever He deems as precious IS precious.  That's us, folks!  Whether the world says/thinks you "look good" or not, God calls you beautiful.  Whether society judges you worthy of accolades based on fashion and makeup and high heels and perfume (none of which I'm knocking per se), God views the heart He's built within you as lovely.  God calls you "precious".  I've been told that many times by Daddy and those belonging to Him, and I believe it.  I'm grateful for it... and I'm not alone.
You, too, are precious in His sight.  He's looking at that heart of yours and smiling, for it is lovely.  He finds you pleasant to behold, and Holy Spirit loves your smile.  Know that, beloved, and be glad.  REJOICE that our God does not see as mankind sees, "for man looks on the outward appearance, but God looks on the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7)
Humble, contrite spirits melt the heart of God.  Always be willing to turn away from following after the opinions of others and cleave only to the truth of God. Cling to His character like an adoring child, beloved; ingest the love He has for you and let your mind-sets adopt His opinions as dear children.  In the face of world views, always ask yourself, 'what does God think?'; ask Him, and base your assessments on His truths alone. Remember that it is impossible for Daddy to lie; I love that best of all, because He looks on me and says, continually, that I am precious.
Beloved, He's saying the same things about you.  God bless you.
"... fervent in spirit, serving the Lord."
(Romans 12:11b)
