I'm going to refer y'all to the Glory Shield Ministries website for this post of Daddy's Girl.

I've uploaded some tones I recorded in praise this afternoon, and I found I truly enjoy calling up two windows simultaneously and starting the audio tracks about 5-7 seconds apart for a marvelous "round" of spirit-embodied tones.  Try it for yourself and you'll see what I mean!  :0)

Of course, single playback of this God-inspired track will also bless you.  It's about 3.25 minutes long, and here's the link:

Be blessed, everyone!

For "the Unknown"

Lately I've encountered a prime example of how not choosing to focus on Daddy can only further bind and entangle souls desiring freedom.
Totally bypassing any suggestion to focus on the Father (looking upward) rather than focusing on our surroundings is what keeps us grounded and restless and struggling.
Only God can affect change in others, and doing so is His specialty.  Knowing and rejoicing in that truth is where our hearts can come in for the benefit of ourselves and others; the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous is able to conquer altogether everything that blocks, binds, hinders, and prohibits willing souls from coming into freedom through forgiveness.
What a comfort that is! And above all, what an ongoing lesson it is for me (and you) to utterly reject all of the enemy's attempts to destroy my heart's tenderness towards others by snaring me with grievances regarding their behavior. Lovingly and sincerely lifting them to the arms of Holy Spirit for deliverance and repair is the best thing to be done for every heart involved.  Amen.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your constant prayers covering my heart, mind, will, and emotions - for without Your tendering, my heart would be hopelessly hard, and my voice would be mute. Your goodness, faithfulness, and power have kept my heart opened to Your warm springs of healing in understanding and tenderness. Indeed, the same hand that touches me in forgiveness allows me to forgive others and pray Your heart of change rescues them from every offense. Lord, I love You.
May the Blood of Jesus cleanse every wound and the Oil of the Spirit accomplish complete healing and restoration, in Christ's Precious Name. Amen.

His Eyes

I've been thinking about looking into the eyes of Jesus; the One to Whom my story appears, all at once, on the day I stand before Him at His Throne.  I've been thinking a lot about the pair of eyes that will look into mine without an ounce of ill-will or malice or jealousy or contempt; thinking at length about the look of love that will overtake me from those eyes.

Ever think about that?

We will stand before Him, you know; before the One Who created and saved each of us...
"All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men." (John 1:3-4)
The same Lord Jesus Who agreed to take on human form for all eternity for the sake of you and me will look into our faces - one by one - and speak our names aloud, and transform us with the beaming embrace of His loving gaze.

Could you look into His eyes?  Are you longing... craving... yearning to do so one day as you stand before Him in the flesh glorified by His incomparable sacrifice?

So am I (and I'll leave you with that miraculous, pulsating, marvelous thought).

Until then, may the eyes of His Spirit which alone hold all power and are mighty to save through the Majesty of Almighty God our Heavenly Father cleanse and sanctify you holy... blood-washed and secure in His eternal purpose and plan for your lives.

In Christ's Name I pray.  Amen.

Feed on God's Approval

This morning I was watching a popular cooking program and noticing the hungry look on one contestant's face when she received the judges' approval.  It was noticeably apparent that their smiling faces and nods of appreciation re-energized her; I could tell her determination to continue excelling had boiled over before their eyes.

But I also couldn't help realizing how, eventually, their approval of her would fall to her own shortcomings.  I couldn't help equating that realization with the truth of how - in terms of granting lasting approval - humanity in general abysmally fails because the flesh is finite and fallible.

Not so with God.

I've felt that hunger experienced by the eager cook in terms of pleasing God, and I've reveled in the truth that - with Jesus and the fullness of the Godhead indwelling Him - there is limitless approval poured daily into the storehouse of my heart and humanity.  Friends, even though we often falter and fall short of His vision for us, His approval of us stands.  We were formed in approval, blessed and predestined in approval, and the seal of who we are in Christ Jesus has been stamped upon us with the resourceful promise of "yes and amen"!

Hallelujah! Of whom He has made us in the Beloved, He always approves.  Always.

I feed on that, because it pleases both of us; also, it is safe and absolutely inexhaustible. Abba always approves of who I am as His precious seed and designated daughter.  He approves of every one of us that way, saints.  Not one of us falls beyond the scope of His acceptance in the Beloved.  Never will He turn the scepter away, refusing us entrance into His heart when we purely and fervently approach (don't be afraid of that); but, from His Majestic Throne He'll lift His gentle, righteous hand and bid us, "Approach".  I have melted at His invitation many times, and I know the benevolence of His heart.  We were created in acceptance and approval, and God's character and behavior never deviates from His nature. He is not a man that He should lie and - of His creation and precious children - He definitely approves.

While our decisions and actions may grieve Him along life's journey, the crux of who we are as His sons and daughters remains fixed and guarded in the unfailing love of His heart.  He passionately adores us, He craves our company, and approves of every heart He has formed and destined for greatness and unity with His Spirit.  Amen.
"For we are His workmanship; created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them." (Eph. 2:10)
That truth is what I'll wear and bask in all the days of my life.  Thank You, Jesus!

"Your Shout!"

When I crawl to the hiding place that is the Bosom of God, He restores me and refreshes me to return to life's battle on His behalf armed in the Peace, Safety, and Confidence of His unfailing Love.  Sometimes I just want to write a poem about it, like I've done here today. As always, it's my pleasure to share it with you, and I thank Holy Spirit for imparting such rich life to me.

Restore my heart when virtue rises in me and goes out.
Renew my voice, refill my soul, endue me with Your shout!
My Lord, My God, it's all day long I sing and worship You.
I see Your face and hear Your voice and share them with the few
You have commended to my hands and heart to know Your praise.
Your tongue of Wisdom and of Love I'll value all my days.
And when my life has ended and my cup has overflown,
my wounds and hurts all mended by the balm that I have known,
I'll reach up with my hands and with my heart to heights anew,
until my redeemed soul and vital spirit mesh with You.
Refresh my wearied body, Lord, so that I can press on,
and be the Voice within me drawing others to Your Song!
I have no need to fear the evil forces or their pranks,
for Your hand goes before me wreaking havoc in their ranks.
Rest mighty on my focus, God - remove all fear and doubt;
and tumble walls of envy, bursting through them with Your shout!

Don't Fear Their Faces

The prophet Jeremiah was called by God from the womb and, in life, he held some inward trepidation at being commissioned a prophet at an extremely young age.  This is what the Lord God said to him:

“Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’
For you shall go to all to whom I send you,
And whatever I command you, you shall speak.
Do not be afraid of their faces,
For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord."  (Jer. 1:7-8)

I think that's beautiful... and extremely challenging at the same time.  With what confronts us today as we press on for God's cause, we'd do well to receive reassurances much like Daddy's to Jeremiah in his day.

As you travel God's way in obedience, beloved, some will think you are not "qualified" (by their definitions), some will say you are not "old enough in God" to undertake His assignments.  But the truth is that - when Abba commissions and prepares a soul for service, it is ready - it doesn't matter what others think, or what doubt or disapproving expressions seize their faces.

As those called and made ready by the Godhead, our place is to focus on the face and voice of God, clinging always to the pledge of obedience we've made to serve Him no matter what. He sourced and empowered that pledge and, as with Jeremiah, God Himself has promised to deliver us from all words, deeds, spirits, and "faces" battling us to the contrary.  I believe that.

Therefore, we will not fear, no matter what the trial - for in Christ's power we will go to whomever God sends us, and whatever He commands we will speak.  That is my declaration over, and prayer for (me and) all who are called according to Yahweh's truth, plan, and purpose. Amen.
