Welcome atonement

We welcome the season of repentance and forgiveness, where we leave the past behind in all its offenses and stumbling blocks, and we embrace all that Abba has for us in new beginnings, His compassion, and fulfillment of promises.

We welcome Yom Kippur with a heart of contrition and humility, submission and joy. Father, we receive Your healing balm Who is Christ Himself, and we align ourselves with all He did as our eternal atonement to reconcile our hearts to Your purposes, plans, and desires on our behalf. Hallelujah.

We release and we receive, that our lives will continue to reflect holiness according to Your plan; set apart from the world and its designs and turned, instead, to Your offerings and intentions in focus and fragrance of maturity and sacrificial love.  Father, we want to follow Your Way alone, and we bless Your Precious, Holy Name.

Abba, in the sweet Name of Christ Jesus we render our continued submission and obeisance to You for all Your heart has planned for our lives in Godliness, obedience, and eternal growth.

Yom Kippur, 5776
