"JESUS PAID IT ALL! ALL TO HIM I OWE!
Sin had left a crimson stain - He washed it white as snow."

Today I was thinking on a conversation my mother and I had many years ago about all the Lord had done for us. (I know now that it was only the beginning of His myriad manifestations of blessing to our lives.) We talked about His joy and healing and His Goodness... about all He had bestowed in rescue and Wisdom, mercy, and recovery...
And then my mother gestured as if in Heaven on that very last "Day", and she tossed her right hand into the air and said, "and then we'll take our crowns and throw them at His feet."
Even all those years ago, my spirit-man leapt and tingled with affirmation. Friends, I remember the impact her words had on me then, and they still rivet my soul and spirit - even greater and deeper - to the eternal, joyous anticipation of that marvelous Day; for Jesus paid it all, and all to HIM we owe. Hallelujah!
Here's a poem the Lord gave me, inspired by the beautiful discourse mom and I shared which Daddy has thoughtfully and lovingly preserved in my memory:
I'm looking forward to laying my crowns right at the Lord Jesus' feet.
He's paid it all and destroyed the wall that existed between God and me.
I'm looking forward to mocking and laughing the enemy fully to scorn.
God rescued my soul and returned what he stole right back to the time I was born!
O, Jesus the Christ, the True Lord of my life, I thank You for saving me!
It is my great pleasure to give You the crowns that say to the world I am free!
