Welcome atonement

We welcome the season of repentance and forgiveness, where we leave the past behind in all its offenses and stumbling blocks, and we embrace all that Abba has for us in new beginnings, His compassion, and fulfillment of promises.

We welcome Yom Kippur with a heart of contrition and humility, submission and joy. Father, we receive Your healing balm Who is Christ Himself, and we align ourselves with all He did as our eternal atonement to reconcile our hearts to Your purposes, plans, and desires on our behalf. Hallelujah.

We release and we receive, that our lives will continue to reflect holiness according to Your plan; set apart from the world and its designs and turned, instead, to Your offerings and intentions in focus and fragrance of maturity and sacrificial love.  Father, we want to follow Your Way alone, and we bless Your Precious, Holy Name.

Abba, in the sweet Name of Christ Jesus we render our continued submission and obeisance to You for all Your heart has planned for our lives in Godliness, obedience, and eternal growth.

All Right

When you've run seriously with the Lord for many years, you grow gloriously familiar with this testimony:  "For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light."

Contemporary Christian music artist Crystal Lewis' new album features a song called "Be Alright", which repeats the faithful focus God has established within her over double-digit years of recording albums praising His Mighty Name and living her life for Jesus.  I listened to it carefully today, and it's so true.  Amen.  I love the truth of His faithfulness to all His children and His words which mightily declare - year in and year out - through every one of our trials, "... it's going to be all right."

Think about it, saints - when has He failed you?  When?  That's right - NEVER! HALLELUJAH!

You get to a point in your walk with Jesus Christ that His maturity settles within you and His Peace is a blanket upon you such that you DO NOT FEAR upcoming circumstances; rather, you discern them with the strength of His Spirit within you and you are NOT at their mercy.  Peace is wonderful, y'all; it's Jesus Christ Himself according to Ephesians 2:14.  Praise His Precious, Holy Name.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever the scripture says in Hebrews 13:7-9a.  When you've seen the love of God permeate obedient lives with successful outcomes over and over again - and when it is powerfully repeated in your own life - it dawns on you that He is indeed the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  You genuinely believe and become rooted and grounded in the truth of His faithfulness and your ultimate safety in Him.  Your lifestyle changes for the better, permanently.  You don't have to battle fear because, in Christ, it is not even a worthy opponent; it's not of God, so it is beneath you from the very beginning.  Ha!

Child of God, rest in the harvest reaped of your tenacity and strength in Jesus; for He has made you strong in faith, giving glory to God - knowing that everything He's promised He is also well able to perform!  Year after year - for the entire life of the faithful, obedient child of the Most High God - one thing is always certain:

"It's going to be all right..."  Amen.
